Privacy Policy — Puppy Academy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Puppy Academy ("the App," "we," "us") collects, and what it does not collect. We built this App to be safe for players of all ages, including children, and we keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the game.

1. Information Stored on Your Device

Your game progress (pet stats, commands learned, in-game currency, etc.) is saved locally on your own device. This save data is not uploaded to us, is not tied to your identity, and we do not have access to it.

2. Information We Do Collect

We collect a very limited amount of anonymous, aggregate information:

Play/download counters: we count how many times the game is played or downloaded, as an anonymous total. This count is not linked to any individual player or device.
Standard web server logs: like most websites, our hosting providers (GitHub Pages, Cloudflare) may automatically log basic technical information (such as IP address and browser type) for security and performance purposes. We do not personally review or use these logs to identify individual players.

3. In-App Purchases (Timer Skips)

Purchases of virtual currency are processed by our third-party payment provider (Paddle). Payment details (card number, billing address, email used for the receipt) are collected and processed directly by the payment provider under their own privacy policy — we do not see or store your full payment information.

After a successful purchase, you receive a one-time code which you enter inside the App to activate your purchase. Redeeming a code does not require creating an account or providing personal information to us.

4. Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information (name, email, precise location, photos, etc.) from any player, including children. The App contains no chat, messaging, or other feature that would let players communicate with strangers, and it does not show behavioral/targeted advertising.

5. Notifications

If you allow it, the App can show local reminders (for example, when your pet's rest timer finishes) directly from your device. These reminders are generated and scheduled entirely on your own device — no reminder content is sent to or generated by our servers.
